Directory of County Ofcials • 2015/2016 | 9 President's Message As president of the Maryland Association of Counties this year, it is my pleasure to present the 2015-2016 Directory of County Ofcials. This publication provides names and contact information of those serving in public ofce since January 2015. MACo has provided this directory in evolving formats since 1961. The frst edition was a simple listing of member counties, elected ofcials, and their phone numbers and addresses. This 29th edition contains website and email addresses, additions that could not be imagined in 1961. With the ever-changing infuence of technology in our lives, it is important to remember the people found in all 29 editions of the directory are and have been Maryland's committed public servants. And even though their names and faces have changed, they have in the past — and are today — working hard to bring the best government to our cities, counties and state. This edition also contains advertising from many Maryland counties, corporations and companies. It means a great deal to the officers and Board of Directors to have their participation and support for this directory and the many other functions sponsored throughout the year.
